History

1965

Diesel company Rotterdam "D.B.R." BV was founded in 1965 and is specialised in design, assembly and delivery of generator sets, for the ship building and offshore industry.

From the beginning to play a good service and reliability especially in the offshore is a very important and vital role and provide DBR existence.

1990

DBR BV has been active for several years with the sale, supply and installation of the renewed SDMO generators.
Early ninetees DBR BV was selected as a qualified partner for SDMO France. DBR supplies the emergency generator sets for the industrial market in the Netherlands and worldwide with SDMO products from 1 kVA to 3000 kVA in open design, execution in silent or container.

1995

Through the years, DBR BV has developed into a reliable partner in which quality and safety play an important role. Therefore, since 1995, DBR BV is an ISO 9001 and VCA ** certified company.

1997

DBR Yacht Systems was founded in the early ninetees under the name Ocean Yacht Systems. Late ninetees, DBR Yacht Systems became part of the DBR BV.

This strategic step lead to the fact that DBR Yacht Systems customers get even more effective and efficient service. DBR Yacht Systems has evolved over the years, and specializes in "special products" for the Mega Yacht Building with a high quality level.

2001

Since its inception, the supply of pumps, pump sets and spare parts have supplied a tremendo growth. In 2001 this gives the possibility to establish a separate business unit: DBR Pumps & Parts.

2007

The three business units of DBR BV are hosted in a building with expandable facilities in Sliedrecht. The individual business units have the same logo in different colours.

2011

The further integration of the three business units results in a uniform appearance to the market. The logo in shape remains the same. Now DBR Generatorsets, DBR Pumps & Parts and DBR Yacht Systems have the same logo. Further professionalisation in appearance and consistency is necessary to continue to anticipate worldwide professional clientele in which DBR BV operated more and more.
